PAYMENT & CANCELLATION POLICY


GENERAL

Minimum passenger numbers may apply. All reservations must be reconfirmed by 2.00pm the day prior. If weather conditions prevent us from flying, you may reschedule to the next available day, space permitting.

Flight durations are indicative. Flight time and flight paths are at the discretion of Alpine Helicopters, subject to safety, pick up locations and weather conditions.

Infants and toddlers under 4 years fly free of charge when seated on an adults lap, subject to weight restrictions.

PAYMENT

All prices are charged in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) and include GST of 15%. We accept cash, Visa, Mastercard and Alipay. Payment by direct bank transfer in NZD can also be arranged.

A 50% deposit is required to confirm all reservations. The balance must be paid prior to departure.

Credit is only available to approved trade partners by prior arrangement. Where credit terms have been agreed, all invoices to be paid by the 20th of the month following invoice. Cancellation fees, if any become the responsibility of the booking agent to collect.

CANCELLATION POLICY

If you cancel you will be charged a cancellation charge based on a percentage of the total price of the booking as set out below:

Standard Booking

Cancellation notified more than 24 hours prior to departure:                 0% (no cancellation charge)
Cancellation notified 24 hours or less prior to departure:                      25%
‘No Show’                                                                                              100%

Wedding Bookings

Cancellation notified more than 7 days prior to departure:                    0% (no cancellation charge)
Cancellation notified less than 7 days prior to departure:                      100%

 

For bookings cancelled by Alpine Helicopters due to inclement weather, that cannot be rescheduled, you will receive a full refund.

If you cancel in circumstances where you are entitled to a refund of your deposit, payment of any refund to a credit card will incur an administration charge of 3% of the refund amount which will be deducted from the payment.

All transactions are conducted in New Zealand Dollars (NZD). Due to exchange rate fluctuations, at times there may be some variance in the amounts refunded compared to the amount initially charged. No liability is accepted for these variances or any subsequent credit card/bank charges relating to these transfers.

It is recommended that you have comprehensive travel insurance to protect against unforeseen circumstances that may affect your travel plans.
